











Mt Fuji Ecotours operates tours out of Fujinomiya City, the closest city to the majestic Mt Fuji. Tours are suitable for all people and range from relaxed day hikes up to Hoei crater on Mt Fuji, to half-day cycle tours in local villages overlooking Mt Fuji. Visit the majestic Shiraito falls, dress in a traditional Kimono and explore the local township while chatting with locals, or even visit the local sake brewery close to Mt Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine in the centre of town.

First, visit Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre and try a circuit of the virtual mountain climbing experience.
Then have a famous local food; Fujinomiya yakisoba fried noodles for lunch.
Following lunch, be fitted in a Kimono by a local expert, explore the town and chat with locals, visit Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Sheine, where Mt. Fuji is enshrined, the world heritage site.
Then learn to make beautiful Japanese sweets from a 3rd generation craftsman, and finally enjoy this with Shizuoka green tea, made from Mt. Fuji's crystal clear water.
Stay overnight at a Japanese inn.

Enjoy a leisurely cycle through Satoyama village and past Mt. Fuji. Visit Shiraito Falls and learn about its history, briefly explore the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls and take photos with the breathtaking waterfalls as your backdrop.
For lunch, savor handmade soba (buckwheat noodles) with finely battered tempura.
Finish the day with a visit to a historic sake brewery and hear family stories from the 18th generation owner.
(December-February) Instead of visiting Shiraito Waterfalls, explore historic Nishiyama Honmonji temple built in 1344.

Meet the guide at Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine, where Mt. Fuji is enshrined; the world heritage site.
See Mt. Fuji's spring water as it wells up in the shrine grounds.
Following the shrine visit, enjoy easy hiking along the Fujinomiya Trail to explore the Hoei crater, the largest crater on Mt. Fuji.
If the weather is good, lunch will be served at the crater(June-October)./ Enjoy hiking on the different forest area or on Mt. Fuji.
If there is snow, enjoy snowshoe hiking (November-May). Finally, visit to traditional ryokan (Japanese inn) to try some special artisanal desserts.
Enjoy chatting with the ryokan's host, who will share interesting bits about Fujinomiya culture and customs.
